The chart doesn't show it ending even with the prior row but the original does so I ended my run even also.

Band 21 Long Arm Cross note

The instructions they give are unlike any Long Arm Cross I've ever done. So
I just used the old fashioned way like this picture. You can also go to Victoria Sampler
And use her stitch animation tool.

This is mostly cross stitch. A pleasant break from the running stitch. Best to use colour photos to confirm colour use plus use the detail diagram to mark off symbols as they are completed.

The instructions for this stitch in the kit is actually for the montenegrin stitch
but I used the actual long arm stitch pattern which omits the horizontal bar. Victoria Sampler  has

This one seemed to take forever but is one of the loveliest bands.

Count down from top of the center braid to the  bottom of the 4th arch

Count out 6 stitches or 18 threads to begin #1. This is 6 stitches from the inside of the arch or 15 threads or 5 stitches from the braids edge.

51 threads or 17 stitches from top.

I went ahead and did step 11 while I was working this area.

Band 17 Step 11 left side top center travel.

This was pretty much start and stop as you wish. I started in the center and went to the left and stopped at the right of the left bottom acorn. but the way the running stitches are placed I wasn't able to do continuos run so I had to go back and do the few stitched above the top acorn. The right section above the blue motif and went up to my left. I stopped center top and went back and did the few stitches above the lower right acorn.

How I added the inner lines. Coming up at Dot and down at arrow. The arrows without a dot at the other end is just to show the direction I went to next.The ones in red just add after either outer number.
